New and Noteworthy

Last Spring before the COVID-19 pandemic forced shutdowns, school closures and new ways of interacting St. Matthew Church and School had started a Capital Campaign to replace the school roof and add some seismic upgrades to the building.  This was going to be a big undertaking even without a pandemic.  We are happy to report that through the generosity of many donors we were able to meet our fundraising goal even with the challenges of a global pandemic.  During the summer months the roof was replaced and the upgrades were completed, all in time to welcome back students and staff.  We are excited to have made several upgrades to our school building over the last several years.  We have created a preschool space, built a state-of-the-art Science Lab, installed a new heating and cooling system, and replaced the roof and made seismic upgrades.  We are eternally grateful to all the donors and volunteers who have made these project possible.  Our students and staff are blessed to be part of such a caring, compassionate, generous community.  THANK YOU!
