New and Noteworthy

Since the pandemic hit, St. Matthew Catholic School has kept the gates open to our campus for a place families could go to socially distance and enjoy the weather. That simple act has meant a lot to our community. However, we see that we can do even more for both our students and community by creating even more play spaces that can be safely used while maintaining social distancing. Our goal is to raise up to $1300 to purchase materials to help our student stay physically active even in this pandemic.  We have chosen three different items to purchase depending on how much is raised during this campaign. We have chosen items that would give our school a site license for classroom activities that would keep our students moving without the need for extra equipment, stencils to transform our blacktop into a space where kids of all ages can play games that keep them moving and work their gross motor skills, to a full stencil set with a variety of games that give kids many options for play.  We are acutely aware of how this pandemic has affected children's ability to play and exercise, and we want to create a space that is safe to do so during this unique time and into the future.

$299= Playful Playground No Equipment Activities Set Site License

$599= 5 Pack Stencils Set Sensory Pathways (includes Instructional Task Cards, Vocabulary Cards, Assessment Cards, Extension Activities, and At Home Parent Cards and Activities)

$1299=Recess Stencil Set (comes with game rules and activity suggestions)
