SAC
The School Advisory Council (SAC) is an advisory body to provide policy direction for program needs of the school; to promote the implementation of said policies; and to ensure that all local policies are in accord with the intent and spirit of the policies established for the Catholic schools of the Archdiocese of Portland. Under this umbrella fall eight distinct functions:
- Assure Mission Effectiveness
- To Participate and Encourage Strategic Planning
- To Develop and Defend Policy
- To Offer Financial Advice
- To Provide for Good Public Relations
- To Evaluate Itself
- To Participate in the Process of Selecting the Principal
- Generativity (SAC Membership)
